About Our Staff

ETI, founded by Becky Richards, is a woman-owned training and consulting firm with extensive experience in both domestic and international environmental management. Our staff members are experienced international speakers that routinely provide lectures and courses on a wide variety of environmental topics. In addition, we provide consulting on a broad range of environmental issues including asbestos, environmental management systems, hazardous waste handling, pollution prevention and ISO14001.

Ms. Richards, President, has over 15 years of consulting and training experience in complex subsurface investigations, Voluntary Clean-up Program, multi-media compliance audits, hydrogeology and groundwater resources, pollution prevention, Phase I ESAs, USTs, asbestos surveys and subsurface remediation.

ETI's senior staff have over 25 years of experience in training and consulting. Their variety of experience includes environmental studies for airports, waste management facilities, and wastewater treatment facilities. In addition, they have worked extensively with regulatory agencies to obtain permits on projects such as 404 permits, air permits, and storm water permits, and negotiated with TCEQ on issues ranging from air to cleanup levels for contaminated sites.

What Makes ETI Unique

Training - ETI takes a unique approach to environmental training and strives to accommodate the needs of our customers while maintaining competitive pricing. We will provide ON-SITE high-quality educational services to facility staff without the operational disruption and added costs of your staff traveling to a specified training locale.

Consulting - In addition to our training services, ETI provides consulting and permitting services. The owner and senior staff have extensive experience conducting asbestos surveys, Phase I & II ESAs, compliance audits, subsurface investigations, indoor air quality, TPDES storm water permits, air permits, and certificates of completion for voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) sites.
